bLogistics: bLogistics provides logistics services for the book and media industry, including on-line consignment sales and inventory management for book wholesalers and retailers. From its 40,000 square foot warehouse in Denver, bLogistics provides Global Education Fund with the space to store, sort and pack books. bLogistics also provides thousands of donated books to GEF, which are collected from libraries and book retailers all over the United States as part of their consignment sales program. Volunteers: Hundreds of volunteers assist GEF by donating reading materials; sorting and packing books; organizing the involvement of American school children; hosting events to build awareness of GEF and much more. Employees of multinational corporations and other international volunteers have assisted at our orphanage libraries with storytelling, tutoring, reading and book discussions. Fellows/Interns: University students serve as interns for GEF, gaining course credit while assisting in a variety of capacities from grant writing, to event planning, to marketing and program development. In addition, recent college graduates occasionally assist GEF in the field for an extended period of time, conducting needs assessments or establishing literacy centers in orphanages.
